According to FASFA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), cost of attendance is defined as total amount of attending the program, which includes tuition and fees, books, supplies, transportation, loan fees as well as fees associated with distance education.

Residency Status: Costs reflect Florida Resident tuition and fee rates. Non-resident students will incur additional tuition and fee charges. Additional nonresident fees equal $704.42 per credit hour.

Books & Supplies: Estimates include required textbooks, lab materials, uniforms, and essential instructional supplies. Actual costs may vary by vendor and course requirements.

Loan Fees: Estimated based on standard federal student loan origination fees and may change annually.

Distance Education Fees: No additional fees are currently assessed for distance or hybrid course delivery.

Additional Expenses (Not Included):

  • Housing and meals
  • Transportation and parking
  • Health insurance and immunizations
  • Fieldwork-related expenses (e.g., travel, background checks, drug screening, site onboarding requirements, professional attire)
  • Professional liability insurance (if required by fieldwork sites)
  • State and/or National Conference registration and associated expenses
